As a young child I remember looking forward to celebrating birthdays at school because it meant that we were going to get a cupcake treat. My favorite flavor was always the classic vanilla with buttercream icing. Even the smell of buttecream icing takes me back to the joys of eating my cupcake and licking the icing off of my fingers. Since then, I have always been captivated by how such a simple little treat can bring such joy and priceless memories to the lives of millions. Needless to say, I have had my share of cupcakes from many cities, supermarkets, bakeries & celebrations. It is with great joy that I share this little wonder called the “cupcake” with you. The flavors and icing have all been an inspiration from the many delicious cupcakes I have enjoyed throughout my life.
