Jacinta Yu began her professional career working in Marketing and Product Development in the Fashion Industry. She fondly remembers her childhood days throwing surprise birthday parties and baking special cakes for her friends. Before long, her hobby became her passion.

In September 2004 she opened Complete Deelite in Central-Lan Kwai Fong, Hong Kong. Complete Deelite was a place for people to learn how to decorate cakes, get inspired to throw theme parties and also order specialty cakes.

Complete Deelite’s specialty cakes took off and so did the cupcakes which were only available by special request. As word got around town about Complete Deelite’s cupcakes, customers started to go to the store for their daily cupcake fix. And that is the story of how

began.
