Pingu

The Tale of Peter Rabbit :

"Thank you for running the Cake Decorating Courses 1 - 3 and for your light and moist basic vanilla and chocolate cakes recipes. The fundamental skills I learnt at your studio last year had given me the confidence to make and decorate cakes for my family and friends which I never thought possible in so short a time. Last week, my daughters (yes, cake decorating is great for family bonding!) and I entered the Books2eat competition and we won first prize with our entry - "The Tale of Peter Rabbit"! Here is a photo of our entry."

"We moved again and have settled in Greenwich, Connecticut. I've made some nice cakes since I've left Hong Kong and plan to do some more. Thanks for getting me started as it's been a fun and creative outlet for me! Wish Complete Deelite was in my neck of the woods! Take care. "

Pingu

Pingu Cake:

"I made this cake for my youngest daughter in June for her first birthday. Not particularly good looking as I shouldn't have used star-tips to decorate Pingu's¸ body. But in any case, the cake tasted good and everyone was amazed by my newly-found talent. This was my second cake. "

Flowers

Flowers Cake:

"I made use of the left-over icing (the flowers) in Course 2. I didn't realize the skills and the flowers all come in handy. I wish you guys have cake decorating 4, 5 or even 6. Really wish to continue learning from you all. Anyway, thanks again and would speak to you soon."

Nemo

Nemo Cake:

"I used the football pan for the body and iced the tail and fins directly on the board. As for the cupcakes, I used the leftover icing from the last day of the course that's why they're all so colorful, then I put Nemo jelly candies on top, and viola...... "

Castle

Castle Cake:

"As a graduate of level one, thought I should share my most recent endeavour .... it was a blast to construct. I've never had any instruction on fondant, and thought it was hell to work with, but ended up looking okay! The cake got a bit squished en route to the beach, but my son Matthew loved it!"
